Due to a heavily constrained mechanical requirements only subtle form changes and part breaks on the top surfaces were possible. Through the use of precision form surfacing and detailing in conjunction with application of Nissha IMD, IMR foils, LeFrance labels, and transparent plastics we highlighted the premium qualities and technical elements of the system. Regional and global CMF strategies were developed and tested with consumers to understand their perception of premium products in this category.
Role: Contributing designer on product ID. Lead on CAD refinement, on-product interface and CMF direction.
