With the Foodsaver team we worked to improve product usability, countertop appeal and establish consistent elements across all Foodsaver products. In order to accommodate retailer demand for SKU differentiation we were able to identify common components that could be adapted for the different channels to save cost and create unity across products. Our strong working relationship with Jarden’s offshore manufacturer helped us maintain design intent as well as solve functional and aesthetic challenges throughout the development process.
Role: Project and design lead for full product development on 4 of 5 programs; initial concepts through refinement phases to design intent and documentation for the offshore supplier.
